NM Numerical Modelling Details
NM GmbH was founded in 1992 as a spin-off company of ETH Zürich and Siemens Metering AG Zug (former Landis & Gyr). Through a series of scientific collaborations with several universities, NM GmbH co-developed its own FEM-based simulation code NM SESES. Due to a combined effort in CAE tool development and industrial CAE engeneering services, the company has built up its profund knowledge in numerical modelling of complex, coupled systems.
Mission
NM continuously improves its CAE services for large companies as well as for small and medium enterprise (SME) customers.
NM seeks to enter attractive new markets, in particular emerging technologies (e.g., microfluidics or fuel cells), by applying its numerical analysis technique to these challenging products and processes.
Vision
In five years NM GmbH will be a strong player in the Swiss and the EU high-tech CAE service market.
